Ideally every bride would like to have a Saturday wedding, but popular venues are likely to be booked for every Saturday well after your planned wedding date so you’re stuck having to decide between a Friday or a Sunday. Friday Wedding

1. Good for in-town guests: If most of your guests are in-town they wouldn’t mind getting off of work early that day, and they wouldn’t have to leave your wedding early on a Sunday wedding to prepare for work the following Monday.
2. Free weekend: Having your wedding on a Friday allows you to use the weekend to travel to your honeymoon destination then start your week to a relaxing Monday on the beach. And if your guests over-indulge at the bar, they have the whole weekend to recover!

Sunday wedding

1. Good for out-of-town guests: If you’re having a destination wedding or if most of your guests are coming in from out of town, then Sunday is your best option! This gives your guests time to travel and wind down before the big day.
2. Full weekend: You may not have a free weekend, but you could have a full weekend! Plan some events for your guests who arrive in town early.
