Sam Moss worked as the First Assistant District Attorney when he met Christina Nelson in July of 2013 when she came in for an interview at the District Attorney’s Office. From the start, the two hit it off. A month into Christina’s employment at the District Attorney’s Office, she and Sam decided to give dating a try. In September of 2013, the two went to Galveston for their DA’s conference. They tried out their first secret “date”.  Believing the two were doing a great job of hiding their relationship from co-workers, learning later that was not the case, and colleagues knew for a while.

While dating for two years, the pair enjoyed running together as well as spending their off days on sunny beaches. After the couple had spent a few years together, Sam planned the proposal. Christina and Sam traveled to Christina’s family’s beach house in Crystal Beach, Texas where Sam asked Christina to marry him on Valentine’s Day in 2015.

The planning engaged couple chose Ma Maison for the wedding ceremony and reception venue. The ceremony took place under The Trellis on June 4th of 2016 with champagne and peach colored blooms adorning the back wall. The four bridesmaids wore long gray chiffon dresses while the four groomsmen stood in classic black suits. The garden party inspired wedding comprised of gold accents and many sequins.

The seats were filled with 175 guests of Sam and Christina’s in the reception hall. Sea glass pieces were used for escort cards as green garland was draped along the farmhouse tables. Unforgettable memories were made at the Moss wedding as guests danced and laughed the night away.

Two months after the commencement  of their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Moss traveled to Turks and Caicos. The honeymoon was delayed due to baseball season with Sam coaching a little league baseball team.
