Starting the wedding venue search can be a daunting task. There are many moving parts, and you can quickly get confused after looking at one venue after the next. Here is a simple list of you what you need to know when you are looking to book your wedding with Ma Maison!

If you have just started the search and are interested in our property for your wedding ceremony and/or reception, please fill out the Contact Us form on our web page! By doing this, we can get more a little more information from you. All tours at Ma Maison are by appointment. During peak season we have weddings almost every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so we want to be able to schedule a time for you to visit and give you our undivided attention.

It is a suggestion that you book your venue a year before your wedding to secure a date. However, while venue shopping keep in mind of what region you live in; know the peak seasons. In Texas, you will find that peak seasons will be the spring and fall seasons. If you need to have your wedding during spring and only would like a Saturday date, you should be booking your venue a year and a half to two years early. Living in Texas, the summer months can get scorching hot. Couple’s like to choose cooler months for an outside ceremony hence the stockpile of spring and fall weddings.

Since there are certain seasons, many venues will have low season pricing. Below are the pricings associated with the season for 2017 at Ma Maison.

    Low season Jan-Feb and Jul-Aug

    $3500 Monday-Thursday | $5500 Fridays + Sundays | $7500 Saturdays

    Peak Season March-June and Sept-Dec

    $3900 Monday-Thursday | $5900 Friday + Sunday | $8900 Saturday

When booking your wedding with Ma Maison, you receive exclusive rights to that day. There will not be another wedding scheduled; you will not have to share the property with another wedding party. Again, this is why tours are by appointment only. Tours are not given during wedding hours.  A 10-hour time block is allotted to you between the hours of 8 am and 12 am, inclusive of set-up and teardown, on your wedding day.  Couples are more than welcome to purchase early hours as well as late hours if they believe they may need to do so. Brides also can use a complimentary hour for rehearsal as well as complimentary one hour venue time for their bridal shoot. Both of these allotted hours are to be scheduled around other events and can not be added onto wedding day hours. Along with the venue rental, planning couples have access to almost $6,000 worth of inventory. All items are available on their wedding day that includes 20 60 inch round tables, 200 walnut chivari reception chairs, 200 fruitwood folding ceremony chairs, as well as nine farmhouse tables and many more items.

After you book Ma Maison for your wedding, there are a few tasks that you are required to complete for Ma Maison to host your wedding. Couples are required to submit a refundable damage deposit. A Day of Coordinator is required; couples may choose from our preferred vendor list or select one themselves. Wedding Liability Insurance must be purchased for the wedding day. If alcohol is being served, there will need to be a security officer on duty which requires $250.

Starting in 2017 all weddings are required to use Crave Catering for their food and alcohol. Ma Maison offers a preferred vendor list that clients are more than welcome to choose from. Couples are not required to use any other vendors besides Crave for catering.
